Nehalem Bay State Park

Nestled on a four-mile sand spit positioned between the bay and the ocean, this destination offers a unique escape surrounded by shore pines. Guests can stay in one of sixteen yurts, several of which welcome pets. The landscape provides opportunities to spot local wildlife like elk, deer, and various birds. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a forested path designed for biking or explore the nearby coast. Seasonal activities include guided kayak excursions and horseback riding, while the bay area provides access for crabbing, clamming, and fishing. Recent upgrades have also improved the park's utility and restroom facilities.
